On the occasion of Armin Hofmann’s 100th anniversary on June 29th 2020, the Institute of Visual Communication at the Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst FHNW, in collaboration with the Schule für Gestaltung Basel and the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI), organized exhibitions and a series of events dedicated to the Hofmann era from various perspectives. The aim of the exhibition identity was to celebrate this huge graphic design master, his wife’s, and his students’ work. The brand plays with positive and negative space around typography to create something surprising and subtle at the same time.
